Delete your account and data

This page is for users of the CoCo Parenting AI app and website, published by 15064121 Canada Inc. (doing business as CoCo Parenting AI). Use it to request that we delete your account, or some of your data while keeping the account.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove specific data and keep your CoCo Parenting AI login:

  1. Child profiles: sign in → manage children → remove the child you no longer want tracked.
  2. Community posts: open Community → delete your own post.
  3. Reminders: open Reminders → delete the reminder.
  4. Email request: write support@cocoparentingai.com from your account email, subject Data deletion request, and say which data to remove (for example one child, chat history, or community posts). We aim to complete this within 30 days. Your account stays open unless you also ask us to close it.

How to request deletion

  1. In the app or on the website (fastest): sign in → open the account menu → Delete Account → type DELETE → confirm. That permanently starts deletion of your CoCo account.
  2. If you already uninstalled the app: email support@cocoparentingai.com from the address on the account, with the subject Account deletion. We verify the request and delete the account. We aim to complete this within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

When deletion completes, we delete or anonymize:

  • Your login and account profile
  • Child profiles and tracking (milestones, logs, measurements)
  • Pregnancy / postpartum details you entered
  • Coco chat history, reminders, diet plans, and preferences
  • Uploaded files in your account storage
  • Community posts and replies (content is removed and attributed to “Deleted user”)
  • Active CoCo subscriptions we bill (Stripe); Google Play / App Store billing is also canceled when deletion runs from the signed-in app

Account data is then held in a recovery window of up to 30 days, then hard-deleted or anonymized. Backups roll off on the normal backup cycle and are not used to restore deleted accounts.

Data we may keep (legal / security)

  • Billing and tax records — up to 7 years after the last transaction
  • Fraud / abuse signals — up to 12 months
  • Server access logs and crash diagnostics — up to 90 days
  • Email delivery events — up to 12 months
